egoCENTRIC much?

So last Tuesday about halfway through my LONGest run, a white pickup truck pulled along side me and rolled down the passenger window to talk to me.

I took out my earbuds and was expecting one of the following questions~

How FAR do you run?

How LONG do you run?

mmmm. NO. Dude was looking for his dog. I have no idea why I would seriously think some random guy would be interested in my running repetoire, but that is exactly what I thought he wanted to talk to me about. sigh.

Ha! This reminds me of one time when I was in college and I was driving around Austin with some friends. These guys were trying to get us to roll down our window. We ignored them, because they were obviously creeps who were trying to pick us up because we were so hot. It turned out they were trying to let us know we had a flat tire.

lol---well, you do have so much to be proud of so why wouldn't you think that's what he was going to ask?

That is funny! I would have been like I haven't seen your dog, I'M RUNNING, IDIOT!!!!!! only because I can't even imagine running and I know I would be grouchy and not want to be nice and if someone 'bugged' me they better be bugging me to focus on my AWESOMENESS!!!
