deTOXification process

My body revolted at my complete disregard to her health this week. I had such a bad stomach ache last night I had to lay on my side and pathetically rub my own belly because it was just so hurty and yucky. I paid the toll for about 12 hours and now I am well under way in the detoxification process. Lots of cool, plain water. Fresh fruits and vegetables. I was telling Mr. P that as I ate fresh spinach and tomatoes I could feel my cells start to party in pure relief..."DUDES, she is FEEDING us actual FOOD today!!!!"

It is so obvious that I way over did it this week, even the neurons that make up the Fattie on my shoulder (you know the one that says, "GO AHEAD...EAT IT") are in total agreement with some all natural, healthy goodness. I know that because today when we were stocking up on fruit, vegetables, yogurt and milk this display did NOTHING for me:

And normally I lick at least one package.

Good for you! A natural detox like that feels so good!

Damn though. I still crave those cookies and I can't even eat them (well, by my own choice ;) )

yeah for you. i know that feeling, though obviously not as well as you do. every once in a while my body says, dude, can i have a salad instead? and those frosted cookie displays never tempt me. however, pastries? donuts? yeah.

I resisted those cookies for years simply because they were not chocolate...then at a school event for my kids I ate one and the angels sang! So if they don't look good to you, then yeah, yer ready for some veggies! Hope you feel better soon.

I have the belly ache from too much chocolate is my down fall and it irritates my stomach to no end. Two years ago I was in the hospital for FIVE DAYS bleeding out the um, well, let's just say it was bad. Anyways, even though I have serious stomach issues and totatlly know better and can end up right back in the hospital I over ate chocolate. My point: we all fight our demons. Today, I am resisting everything and eating only off of my 'special' diet. I know exactly how you feel.

Don't beat yourself up, just remember you can always start again, the important thing is to not let it flow into week after week again.

Have a good week!!!!

I only came to know these cookies when we moved to our new location. Ohmygoodness they are treats of the devil, that's for sure. So damn soft, tasty and they land instantaneously on my thighs. I love them and I'm not even really much of a sweets person.

Evil devil frosty cookies! I know them well.

Glad your tummy feels better. I wish we lived close enough for me to bring you food because Marcus has decided he doesn't eat soup that I make. Gr.

So, you're the one licking all the cookie packages!
Sorry you're feeling a bit icky. I've been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.
Keep up the fresh fruits and veggies!!!

Ugh, I have a bad feeling this is going to be me tomorrow. I don't know what happened but I went on SUCH a sugar bender the past 5 or so days. Thank god I worked out or I'd be totally screwed.
Why is this so hard some times?!?

It is hard!

I'm sorry to hear about your poor tummy, but glad that you're back on the fruits & veggies wagon.

But PLEASE for the love of God no more posting pictures of those irresistable frosted cookies.
