Baby Steps

I managed to get a 1.72 mile workout in today, with 1 mile in a s-l-o-w jog and the rest walking. It felt amazing to work up a sweat again, I can't believe what a difference being able to exercise makes....not even for merely burning calories, but for mental fitness! Mr. P and I are meeting for Body Pump at 5:30pm. Not the best time, but there is one instructor that I can't STAND, she doesn't know the 'routine' and it makes me crazy, so now we are going at inconvenient times to avoid her. Guess why?

I am too sissy to rat her out for being awful because of all the crap I have gone through with teaching evaluations, I don't want to be a hypocrite.

But I am a hypocrite on another front... I spat today while on my jog (after having made a comment on another blog that I don't.do.that). blech. Almost made me gag to do it, but I did it. So gross, but man, so necessary.

Hee hee. I only spat once this morning, and overall had a better run than in awhile. Glad you are feeling good!

I used to go to an after work Jazzercise class many years ago where one of the teachers would always start class by saying, "Boy, I'm tired." Wow, was that motivating!

As long as your hands aren't scratching your crotch, you're ok. If I could spit, I would. Ever since a bad experience at The Chicken (with chaw no less), I have not spit.

Good job! I always worry if I take too many days off that I will just never get back into it...I think today was the hardest day and tomorrow will be better!

Ew, spitting. But I've been known to do it in extreme running circumstances.
Glad you got back to it...the running, not the spitting.

Anyone reading this who is also a runner is nodding. We all have to spit from time to time.

I spit ALL THE TIME while running. No shame either ;)

I hope someone talks to that teacher so she gets better! But I understand why you wouldn't want to say anything!
