I want you to WANT to do the dishes

I read a post today that made me think of the movie "The BreakUp".

I am SO feeling this scene, with a few substitutions...instead of Gary, I mean me, instead of dishes I mean healthy, healthy, healthy. I want to WANT to eat healthy each and every meal. I want to WANT to exercise daily. I want to WANT to drink water instead of Diet Coke. I just want to WANT to.

But, I guess I don't NEED to want to in order to still eat healthy, exercise and drink water.

damn it. I really, really want to want all that stuff, instead of just wanting the end result. Wouldn't it all be SO.much.easier that way?

As an aside, I set my alarm, got up and ran BEFORE work, ate healthy all day, went to Body Pump after work, went grocery shopping, ate a healthy dinner, and cut up an entire watermelon and pint of strawberries to get me through until boating this weekend! So take that WANT!

I WANT to too, but too often it just doesn't happen. Especially lately. Kudos to you for running early AND eating healthy AND going to body pump. Now can your motivation be contagious? I need some, seriously.

A Cake for a Wife was totally right, wasn't she. We don't need to want to do it, we just need to do it!

What a great day you had for yourself.

WANT vs. NEED. Always a tough call for me!

The clip was funny, with your subsitutions. I didn't really like that movie.

You kicked "want's" ass! Good for you!

I do love what Cake has to say.
Yeah, lately I think I only find motivation in saying, "I want this" and then just doing what I have to do. I don't want to fight the same 25 pounds all over again. So whatever I'm doing? Doesn't suck as bad as having to fight that fight again.
I just wish I could have a month without having to think so hard about it. Blah.

I'm still mad that I don't LIKE running. I like how I feel after but for the first 25 minutes I went jogging today I was pissed I wasn't thinking it was awesome. I really thought that after jogging for awhile I would really like it..maybe I'm just a dumbass. tracy

I need some motivation, too. I'm not doing so well in that department, either. Aunt Flo is going to be coming at some point soon, I think, and that doesn't help!
